Italian Prime Minister ,Matteo Renzi will deliver a public lecture at the University of Nairobi.
During the lecture scheduled for July 15, 2015, the Prime Minister will interact with the University community and the general public.
Italian Ambassador to Kenya, Mauro Massoni said that the Prime Minister will give the lecture from 8.30 am to 9.30 am. The discourse will touch on youth’s involvement in development issues and peace building. Amb. Massoni was speaking at the University when he paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Peter Mbithi.
Prof. Mbithi said that it will be an honour for the University to host the Prime Minister. He added that Taifa Hall will be the ideal venue for the lecture given that historic conversations have been held there in the past.
