HIV/AIDS-related NHL is the second most common cancer associated with HIV/AIDS, after Kaposi's sarcoma.

There are many different subtypes of NHL. The most common subtypes of NHL in people with HIV/AIDS are primary central nervous system lymphoma (affecting the brain and spinal fluid), found in 20% of all NHL cases in people with HIV/AIDS, primary effusion lymphoma (causing fluid to accumulate around the lungs or in the abdomen), or intermediate and high-grade lymphoma

University of Nairobi has rewarded the best students from the Academic Year 2011/2012 and
2012/2013 at the prize giving ceremony held at Taifa Hall today, May, 20, 2016.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Peter Mbithi noted that the University is
keen on rewarding top achievers as they represent resilience, one of the hallmarks of university
scholars. Prof. Mbithi noted that the prize giving day, is special to the University and it is second to
the graduation ceremony.
